The Journey
From a marketing job in Texas to a platform built for home improvement companies.
Around 2012
Where it started
I worked for some big digital marketing companies in Texas.
I learned a ton, but I realized they cared more about their own profit than the clients they served. I gained valuable technical skills there and knew I wanted to build something of my own.
My father ran a countertop company back in the ’80s and ’90s. I worked alongside him as a kid, so the home improvement world was in my blood long before I made it my career.
Around 2016
The first company
So I started my own company.
In 2016, I landed my first kitchen & bath remodeler and launched Hey Remodelers. The work spoke for itself, and word spread fast. Since 2019, we focused almost entirely on countertops, becoming Countertop Marketing Co.
